Types of chargers:

Level 1 chargers operate at 120v and can be used on your standard three-prong outlet. Level 1 charging provides 2 to 5 miles of range per hour of charge. In most cases, charging your car overnight will be sufficient to meet your needs for a short commute or running errands.
Level 2 Charging - 240 Volts | 10-25 Miles of range per hour | At Home, Work, or Public usage
Level 2 chargers operate at 240v and require a new circuit to be installed by a licensed electrician. Level 2 chargers are often found in workplaces, apartment buildings, and public areas, they can also be installed at your house.
